What is checkered steel plate?
Steel checkered plates are made from a durable, non-slip surface that is suitable for use in areas where slip resistance is required. The plate is characterized by a raised pattern of diamonds or lines, providing improved traction and stability.
Checked Plate Materials
Checked Plate Steel uses a variety of materials for diamond and checkered plate including:
Stainless steel
Mild steel
Aluminum
Our standard checkered plate ranges from 14 gauge to 1 inch thick, 48 inches to 96 inches wide, and lengths up to 25 feet long with custom cut lengths available. By holding all different sizes of aluminum and steel floor plate in stock and ready to go, you can oftentimes get your standard sizes that same day!
We are premier service providers of laser and plasma cutting, leveling and shearing, robotic welding, metal rolling and forming, and metal fabrication. We look forward to becoming a hardworking extension of your team.
Steel checker plate features ideal skid resistance and is widely used in non-slip places such as stair treads, entryways and truck ramps.
Compared with aluminum diamond plate, steel plate can hold much heavier loads. For expanding its life expectancy, galvanized steel diamond plates are provided.
